boost 1.36.0 (was 1.35) Still needs a patch? http://archlinux.org/pipermail/arch-dev-public/2008-September/008203.html
The patch is not required for boost to build. It's probably needed for apps that use the affected .hpp file. I'll apply and rebuild tomorrow. Also I need to build libavg against 1.36.0 before moving to extra.
Just so everyone is on the same page: boost 1.36.0 (was 1.35) Kevin is doing a rebuild today. http://archlinux.org/pipermail/arch-dev-public/2008-October/008402.html deluge 1.0.0-1 gnash-common 0.8.3-4 Needed in PKGBUILD?: boost>=1.36.0 libavg 0.7.0-6 latest-0.8.0 marked out-of-date miro 1.2.7-2 (was 1.2.7-1) python-vpython 3.2.9-4 Needed in PKGBUILD?: boost>=1.36.0 smc 1.5-2 (was 1.5-1) Update Description?: Secret Maryo Chronicles - a 2-D sidescroller platform game Do any other boost dependant apps need a rebuild before this moves?

Just submitted.
deluge 1.0.0-1
gnash-common 0.8.3-4 Needed in PKGBUILD?: boost>=1.36.0
libavg 0.7.0-6 latest-0.8.0 marked out-of-date
I looked briefly at this but libavg now requires some GraphicMagick thing which is in AUR.
miro 1.2.7-2 (was 1.2.7-1)
python-vpython 3.2.9-4 Needed in PKGBUILD?: boost>=1.36.0
smc 1.5-2 (was 1.5-1) Update Description?: Secret Maryo Chronicles - a 2-D sidescroller platform game
Do any other boost dependant apps need a rebuild before this moves?
There's bmpx but it's not as sensitive to boost version bumps as the others. Also the current version is crap - music players should die when you select a song to play, right? -- K. Piche <kpiche@rogers.com>

The following packages have a runtime dependency: # abiword-plugins # asio # bmpx # deluge=1.34.1 # encfs>=1.34 # glob2 # gnash-common>=1.34.1-2 # hugin # kdeedu # libavg=1.34.1 # libtorrent-rasterbar # miro>=1.34.1 # mkvtoolnix # monotone # nao # pingus # pokerth # python-vpython>=1.34.0 # qbittorrent<1.35 # rb_libtorrent # schroot # smc # source-highlight>=1.34.0 # tagpy # twinkle>=1.34.1 # wesnoth That does not really mean that a rebuild is needed for all of them. But it should be a start for further tests. -- Pierre Schmitz Clemens-August-Straße 76 53115 Bonn Telefon 0228 9716608 Mobil 0160 95269831 Jabber pierre@jabber.archlinux.de WWW http://www.archlinux.de
