[arch-dev-public] request/question: archboot isos hosting directory
Hi archboot isos are now well tested and work as they should, i would like to put them in ftp/iso directory that other mirrors will sync them too. Which directory whould be fine for you? ftp/iso/archboot/2008.03 ? or something else? thanks for input. greetings tpowa -- Tobias Powalowski Archlinux Developer & Package Maintainer (tpowa) http://www.archlinux.org tpowa@archlinux.org

I'm fine with that, iso/ is mirrored on more sites than other/ is. -- Roman Kyrylych (Роман Кирилич)

We could always just name them different things, unless you specifically want a new directory. I'd say, you stick with the naming you already have, and when we iron out the last couple of things, we can just chose a slightly different naming scheme.... or something. I say it's entirely up to you, Maybe just but "-archboot" at the end?

yes this is also fine for me, good idea :) I will do that, so it keeps consistent naming for all iso creators we provide. greetings tpowa -- Tobias Powalowski Archlinux Developer & Package Maintainer (tpowa) http://www.archlinux.org tpowa@archlinux.org

Anything we get together is going to take at least one more day, so we can call it 2008.04 anyway. :) -Dan
