Hey All, I'd like to propose that we have a bug weekend on 1-3 September to clean up our bug tracker before we fully migrate it to Gitlab. We already have less issues then before! [1] But getting the number of issues to be migrated down would be a good thing and make our users happy :-) There is a list of "easy" of fail to build from source and issues with patches. [2] [3] Most of the coordination should happen on #archlinux-bugs on libera.chat. Reminder, this is next weekend! On 05/08/2023 17:53, Jelle van der Waa wrote:

Thanks for getting the ball rolling on this! I have booked the Saturday/Sunday for me for this. Friday does not work, but I'm sure others will have time then! Let's close as many tickets as we can! Best, David -- https://sleepmap.de

The bug squashing weekend ended, and we have squashed ~ 200 bugs. Thanks for everyone involved! Note that we still have ~ 1200 bugs open and some of them are quite trivial to fix. So it would be really nice if some maintainers stepped up and fixed trivial things like the following list, some even have patches ready to be applied! https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/78706 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/78905 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/78359 - with patches! https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/78537 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/78351 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/77692 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/78257 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/78200 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/78166 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/78131 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/77317 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/77267 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/77547 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/77648 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/77657 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/76312 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/76366 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/76366 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/76478 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/76589 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/76591 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/76590 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/76668 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/77181 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/77170 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/76984 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/76975 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/77449 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/74560 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/74568 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/74579 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/74815 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/74949 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/75150 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/75745 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/75737 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/75588 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/75522 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/75494 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/74509 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/74435 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/74410 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/74361 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/73893 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/73971 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/72792 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/73003 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/73036 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/72391 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/71951 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/70664 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/70648 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/69928 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/68452 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/64588 or just drop this dep in wvdial https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/63603 This is just [community], I'm sure the other tracker also has quite some easy to fix issues. Please dedicate ~ 30 minutes of your time and fix some of these trivial issues! Greetings, Jelle van der Waa
