[arch-dev-public] linux-3.8.3-1 ready for core?
Hi guys, nothing scary on the bug tracker so I would like to move the 3.8 series to [core], when enough signoffs are done. Any objections from anyone? greetings tpowa -- Tobias Powalowski Archlinux Developer & Package Maintainer (tpowa) http://www.archlinux.org tpowa@archlinux.org

I've just updated the kernel and some mesa packages and the screen detection in KDE is now broken. On startup it detects that there's a VGA connected and sets my laptop screen to 1024x768 to match detected VGA output even though there's nothing connected. I'll try to find which package causes later. Otherwise no issues so fat.

Yup, it's the kernel. Downgrade to 3.8.2 fixed the problem. I'll try to get some info and report it to the bugtracker. Lukas
