[arch-devops] Apollo decommission

Hi All, All the services that were hosted on apollo were moved to their own VPS'es or were removed. We plan to fully decommission the server on the 31th. If anyone knows any reason not to, please, let us know. We'll keep backups of it for a couple of months, after it's gone. Regards, Giancarlo Razzolini

[arch-devops] Patchwork migration

Hi All, As part of the apollo deprecation effort that's ongoing, we are now migrating patchwork to its own machine. Eventually it *might* be entirely deprecated in favor of gitlab, but we should keep it running for now. The migration will happen tomorrow around 1PM UTC, if there aren't any issues. As part of this effort, patchwork has also been migrated to version 3.0.0. Regards, Giancarlo Razzolini

Hi All, We are going to migrate the wiki to a new VPS as well. The migration will happen tomorrow, 21, around 6PM UTC. If there's any issue, the migration will be pushed to 22, same time. I expect the migration to take around 1 hour, but it can be faster than that. During that time, the wiki will be under maintenance. Regards, Giancarlo Razzolini

Hi All, Continuing with the efforts to migrate each service to their own, separate VPS, we are now going to migrate archweb (our site). The tentative date for migration is tomorrow, 17, with a backup date this Friday, 18, around 6PM UTC. The site will be in maintenance mode and the service that updates the packages on archweb's database will be stopped on gemini. I expect the migration to last around 2 hours, but it might be faster than that. Also, we're changing the current redirection, which is to redirect anything to www.archlinux.org, to instead redirect anything to just archlinux.org. There's no rush to update any links, since we'll keep the redirections indefinitely. Regards, Giancarlo Razzolini

Hi All, Please refrain from upgrading our server until this systemd bug is fixed. [1] reproducible.archlinux.org was unreachable due to this bug and has been fixed by downgrading systemd live and restarting systemd-networkd. https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/68862 Greetings, Jelle
