[arch-devops] Arch DevOps mailing list
Hello, A new arch-devops mailing list has been added to lists.archlinux.org. The list should be used to discuss Arch Linux infrastructure and operations topics. Permission scheme are based on arch-dev-public; list is open for subscription to anyone and writing only for Arch Linux Staff. So, the moderation flag should be removed by mail to be able to write. If you can't do it, ping me. Cheers, -- Sébastien "Seblu" Luttringer https://seblu.net | Twitter: @seblu42 GPG: 0x2072D77A

Subscribed. Filtering requires X-Been-There @lists.archlinux.org. Other lists all seem to have @archlinux.org. -Andy

Indeed. When I moved mailman to luna I decided to put it on the lists.archlinux.org domain so that I can just forward all mail that arrives for that domain to mailman rather than having to sync a list of mailinglists to nymeria and merge them in with our normal email addresses. As mentioned back then when I did the move, this also means that the list addresses for new lists are $listname@lists.archlinux.org, but I guess you saw that since your mail got delivered. Florian

I had totally forgotten about that part and today is the first day I got a moderation request from mailman. I'd reject it, but there are actually some good points in the mail with regards to "Arch Linux ISO Checksums on archlinux.org". I really dislike cross-list discussion so I'm hesitating to reject the mail and point the sender to arch-general. I always hear that arch-dev-public is moderated because otherwise users start spamming it with stuff like systemd flame wars. I don't feel like this would be an issue here so I'd like to open the list up to postings from anyone and see what happens. Opinions? Florian
