Hi all,
Tommorow evening we will be updating https://archlinux.org (archweb), so expect some downtime due to upgrading. Since it's a major version bump 1.8 => 1.11 some issues might occur, but in general it should be a smooth upgrade (tm).
P.S. Next up is porting archweb to Python 3, any help is appreciated!
Hi all, I expect we should have a downtime of about 1-2 hours. If you notice anything different post upgrade, please let us know. Both me and Jelle are going to probably be around on IRC too during the upgrade. Regards, Giancarlo Razzolini

Hi all, We have upgraded archweb to django version 1.11. We found one issue only (which was fixed). All the services seem to be running just fine, as well all the pages are working. If any of you spot something wrong, please let me and Jelle know. Congrats to Jelle for the awesome work in getting this upgrade done. Cheers, Giancarlo Razzolini

Hi, I think the mirrorlist generator [0] is not working as intended. It seems like it ignores the selected options and always gives you the default mirrorlist. I don't know if this is directly related to the archweb upgrade, but I know it worked some month ago. Everything else I looked at looks fine. Great job on the upgrade, your work is appreciated. Example [1]: Country: Germany Protocol: https IP version: 6 Use mirror status: true Result: ## ## Arch Linux repository mirrorlist ## Generated on 2018-04-21 ## ## Worldwide #Server = http://mirrors.evowise.com/archlinux/$repo/os/$arch #Server = http://mirror.rackspace.com/archlinux/$repo/os/$arch ## Australia #Server = https://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/pub/archlinux/$repo/os/$arch #Server = http://archlinux.mirror.digitalpacific.com.au/$repo/os/$arch [...] [0] https://www.archlinux.org/mirrorlist/ [1] https://www.archlinux.org/mirrorlist/?country=DE&protocol=https&ip_version=6&use_mirror_status=on Greetings
