I got in touch with Froscon to ask what's possible, and if so if they can give more info about logistics and practical things.
Did Froscon get back to you?
* who wants to help out organising a conference in Europe/Germany? I'm personally willing to do some organisation like emailing people, updating a blog, putting together a schedule. but not so much the practical stuff.
I'm willing to help, though I have no idea what to do. -- Michael Walker (http://www.barrucadu.co.uk) Arch Hurd Developer; GNU Webmaster; FSF member #8385 http://www.archhurd.org http://www.gnu.org http://www.fsf.org

Hmm, could we still do something (perhaps get a dev room) at FrOSCon? Even if it's 'just' an "arch devs present at conference $foo" that's still better / more fun than nothing. -- Michael Walker (http://www.barrucadu.co.uk) Arch Hurd Developer; GNU Webmaster; FSF member #8385 http://www.archhurd.org http://www.gnu.org http://www.fsf.org

that's something different, there will probably be a handful of Arch devs at froscon again, with a booth and some interested people around. That's a tradition of many years. Dieter
