Has any progress been made with this?

I got in touch with Froscon to ask what's possible, and if so if they can give more info about logistics and practical things.
Did Froscon get back to you?
- who wants to help out organising a conference in Europe/Germany? I'm personally willing to do some organisation like emailing people, updating a blog, putting together a schedule. but not so much the practical stuff.
I'm willing to help, though I have no idea what to do.

Hmm, could we still do something (perhaps get a dev room) at FrOSCon? Even if it's 'just' an "arch devs present at conference $foo" that's still better / more fun than nothing.

that's something different, there will probably be a handful of Arch devs at froscon again, with a booth and some interested people around. That's a tradition of many years.
