Hai everypony, I just registered an Arch booth for Froscon. I know it's way past the registration date but they assured me that there will still be room for us. A friend and me will sit the booth there but I'm curious who else is interested. Since there has been no traffic at all to the announcement on this list, I expect we'll be alone but since there still is time to register participants, I figured I might as well announce it. So then, who else wants to be official Arch Linux booth personal? Sven
I'll definitely try to be there. Sign me up! On Thu, Jun 6, 2013 at 11:45 AM, Sven-Hendrik Haase <sh@lutzhaase.com> wrote:

It's been a while since our last booth, at least for me (2010 I think). I probably won't make it this year though, so have fun.

If people who are not Arch developers can volunteer, sign me up too. If not, no hard feelings;) Michal

I don't see why not. However, I don't know you and don't know how you relate to arch. In a way, you'd be representing us and you'd be expected to stay at the booth at times. What do you do in arch? Are you an active member of the community?

I use Arch as a developer mostly, but I do maintain an AUR package actually ( https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/fastcgi%2B%2B/ ). I try to help the community mostly by showing others the joys of pacman and automatically installed headers;) I also organised a Random Hacks of Kindnes hackathon in Poznan, Poland ( http://rhok.bazzle.me ) recently, but that has more to do with the libre software than with Arch per se. Thanks you went ahead and registered. I already gave up on this. So count me in. :-) I tried to register an account, but I cannot login (username is pierre). Greetings, Pierre -- Pierre Schmitz, https://pierre-schmitz.com
I'll be there, at least I hope so ... still not over the fact I missed out on last year. My work on/with Arch or just me being around the community is pretty nonexistent these days, though. Not sure if I should get a 'veteran bonus'. See ya, Jens (byte/jra)
