[arch-events] ArchLinux-booth at LinuxTag 2011 ?
Hi everyone! I asked about a booth for ArchLinux at LinuxTag 2011 on the forums and was redirected here. LinuxTag 2011 takes place in Berlin from 11th to 14th May. I got the thought from the three wikipages about the organization of a representation for the years 2005, 2006 and 2007. Were there any reasons for discontinuing this? I don't know how long it takes to think something like this through or wether it is already too late to register a booth by now. But as I live in Germany anyway I'd gladly help in organinzing an Arch representation.

However, I'd very much like an official Arch booth. If somebody were to register it in the linuxtag call for projects then I'd certainly help out in the booth. The first call tor projects ended last month but if you register now you might get accepted for the second round. If you want to do that, register as soon as possible. I'll be there with 4 other Archers and also the last years I've met quite a few Archers there. It should be interesting to set up a booth. If you register it, I'll give you my flag for the length of the exhibition. -- Sven-Hendrik
Thanks for the offer, but a small change in my schedule now entirely forbids me to go to LinuxTag, as I still go to school and two examens have been moved to 11th and 13th May :( I'll make myself a note that I'll mention it again next year so that we won't be late for next year's call for projects. As I'm new on this mailing-list I might as well ask: What other events is Arch being represented at? - Felix Wolff On Sat, Mar 12, 2011 at 04:47:19AM +0100, Sven-Hendrik Haase wrote:

You should try to talk to your school about this first before calling it off.
If your school is excusing such events, you should consider yourself lucky. At mine, you rarely get excused for anything - but I'll see. Take care! On Sat, Mar 12, 2011 at 11:09:10AM +0100, Sven-Hendrik Haase wrote:
