[arch-general] OpenVPN systemd unit not prompting for password

I have a private key with a password. When I start OpenVPN with the openvpn command, all works fine. When I start it with the systemd unit (e.g. systemctl start openvpn-client@conf_file), a systemd-ask-password process is spawned from the unit but the prompt is not shown. Interestingly, the prompt is shown the I stop the unit. Riccardo Paolo Bestetti

Hey guys, i have recently received the attached email from a user. He cannot install a package from me due to a GPG error. I have recently updated my key and it should have been added to the new keyring. I don't know a better solution, who can help us? [arch-general] cuda and nvidia package conflict

Dear the maintainers. First of all, I sincerely appreciate your effort to maintain this distribution. I would like to report an incident related to the two packages: cuda and nvidia. It seems that the cuda package is recently updated to 11.0.2-1 in [community-testing]. However, the most recent nvidia package is 440.100-3 in [extra]. Therefore, when I attempt to run an application utilizing CUDA, it instantly hangs with an error related to version mismatch. This problem is resolved when I install nvidia-beta package in AUR. Should I keep using the cuda package in [community]? Or, is there any progress related to this issue? Thank you very much for your attention. -Best regards, jvl.

[arch-general] Permissions Problem possibly

Afternoon all Having a whole hoard of issues that seem like they MAY be permissions related . Is there a hard and fast set of permission attributes that can be set as a default for a user at them moment everything in my user is set name users with the bulk of the permissions set -rw-r--r-- or drwxr-xr-x for a directory i know a lot of you use the numeric system i am not sure of it I get problems such as system settings do not stick libreofice complains about backup files some things work some play up or fail completely Kaffeine for one just bombs out i believe this is a permissions thing but cant find any usefull info as to exactly what should be what if you follow . A litte assistance would be very useful as i do not fancy doing a reinstall i have too much stuff to reinstall Thanks Pete

If I run clinfo -l what returns is: Platform #0: Clover Platform #1: AMD Accelerated Parallel Processing Going deeper with clinfo there's lots of devices not found. --

One of these would be unique, the package is complaining my video drivers aren't up to date. I don't even know what video drivers should be on this machine and haven't got local linux support to clue me in on this one and me being totally blind I don't usually touch or have any interest in video drivers. If the video driver is wrong, will the work done by the computer be rjected by the foldingathome server? The second problem may be effecting all users of the foldingathome package. How good is this package about cleaning up disk space it no longer needs once a completed job gets sent to the server? I have a 120GB drive that's run out of space. This computer runs solid state so the 3tb sata drive wouldn't work in it otherwise this wouldn't be a problem. --
