Can't find KiCad symbols

The terminal output does suggest your gqrx was compiled with rtlsdr support. Try compiling gqrx-git from the AUR, preferably with rtl-sdr-git installed. Or follow the upstream build instructions. nvme disk and system shutdown problem

Hi, After installing Lexar 710 my system freezes after "Reached target Power Down". Suspend and reboot works ok. I do not use this disk in Arch, it is used for win10/win11. Power down from windows works without problems. I tried to blacklist nvme module - it did not help. I booted arch iso from pendrive and from there "poweroff -f" does not work either, so it looks it is related to kernel? My current kernel is: Linux archdevel 6.6.9-arch1-1, UEFI system (AMD b650m and Ryzen 7800x3d) I would be very grateful for any hints. Łukasz

boot partition expansion

Hi folks Well all is well after the previous mess apart from one thing that i must admit i forgot to tackle on the reinstall a few days ago my "/boot" partition is too small 300mb ran into a problem last night pacman installing kernel 6.7.0 The main kernel built installed fine but the fall back errored out with no room on . I have a spare empty partition sda2 of 40Gb sat doing nothing can i grow the boot partition to take some of that spare space without risking another reinstall Sorry to be a pain right now but i got enough medical issues right now and this is just bugging me beyond sanity Any help would be greatfully received Thanks Pete .

Hi again once again previoius to the big ooppsss gqrx worked fine with my RTL-SDR Blog V4 no way can i get it to work now it shows up in lsusb as Bus 008 Device 004: ID 0bda:2838 Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL2838 DVB-T in the previous setup it did not show the DVB-T i believe that may be the issue but try as i might i can not stop the darn DVB-T in "/usr/lib/udev/rules.d/10-rtl-sdr.rules" as per recomended RTL2832U OEM vid/pid, e.g. ezcap EzTV668 (E4000), Newsky TV28T (E4000/R820T) etc. SUBSYSTEMS=="usb", ATTRS{idVendor}=="0bda", ATTRS{idProduct}=="2838", MODE:="0666" This is already supplied Pete

Hi folks first off thanks for all the assistance recently Now this one is one from memory i may have had before using Firefox to access You tube go to post comments on video's ant the text entry is very very slow i am not a quick typist by any stretch of the imagination but if i type a line of text i can almost make a cup of tea before it finishes printing on the screen I had thought it was FF but i have tried several previous versions that were all working perfectly on the previous install any ideas at all i firmly believe it is system based as i have gone back 5 releases of FF that were fine on the previous system . The installed version is also perfectly ok on the LapTop that is at the same level as this machine both updated at the same time ideas please Thanks Pete

Nextcloud 28 Upgrade - Works but Admin Overview fails to see 'sodium' module?

All, Nextcloud server was updated to 28. The upgrade went well, but with a slight nit in the Admin -> Overview check. It lists: <quote> This instance is missing some recommended PHP modules. For improved performance and better compatibility it is highly recommended to install them: sodium. For more details see the documentation ↗. </quote> It is complaining that php-legacy-sodium wasn't installed, so we installed in and enabled the module in /etc/webapps/nextcloud/php.ini, (with a "systemctl reload httpd" in between each test) still not seen by nextcloud, so we enabled in it /etc/php-legacy/php-fpm.ini, still not seen by nextcloud, so we enabled it in the main /etc/php-legacy/php.ini -- still not seen by nextcloud -- but it is happily enabled: # php-legacy -m | grep -i sodium sodium No errors in /var/log/httpd/error.log No new errors in /var/log/nextcloud/nextcloud.log, just the nagging warning that has been there forever: "message":"Module \"apcu\" is already loaded at Unknown#0" Anybody know why nextcloud 28 Admin->Overview tells you it wants sodium, but then doesn't see it once it is installed. -- David C. My desktop PC is quasi 24/7/365 up, with just short interruptions. Is your Arch install on a SSD? If so, there's probably an issue related to the "flash retention time". If an SSD is not supplied with power, it loses data relatively quickly even in the best condition. You can sometimes read that six months could already be too long. I believe that when SSDs become old, the period of time in which they can safely retain data without a power supply is shortened. Reading about this just happens to be on my to-do list, just like booting up my old desktop PC that hasn't been connected to the mains for months, maybe even longer than half a year. As it's on my todo list, I don't have any knowledge yet. It's just a guess that an old or somehow damaged SSD might look good, pass write and read tests, but the margin in which it can hold data without power might be very, very short at some point.
