Great. So the patches for the actual problem - GDM - are out next week? Leave a message if you need any help with that. You would naturally start with
Why do you diss me? It's not the problem. If it would be GDM only than simply use this: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=48718 Why is there no chance to talk seriously about a problem? ./configure --disable-pulse when compiling gnome-settings-daemon should do this for this and some other situations, but that was not what we try to explain as the problem.
but I do not feel obliged to patch gdm for you, because it's just not currently my problem.
And I don't need your help regarding to this issue, because this isn't the issue. There's no patch needed, it's just a thing of configuring gnome-settings-daemon, IF THIS THREAD WOULD BE ABOUT GDM AND PA, but it isn't. Btw. haven't you noticed that I was quiet for the last mails? Now everybody knows you are an expert, able to patch GDM and I'm an idiot unable to patch GDM :D. There's no need for a patch and such a contest is wasting time. It's not important what I'm unable or able to do. This isn't a competition. Everybody and I understand that the problem is upstream and any request here is useless. No need to diss anybody.
