Hi, all.
I'm a newcomer to Arch Linux so excuse my ignorance.
I attempted to update yesterday (pacman -Syu) & I got this message at the end of the update:
'(121/121) checking for file conflicts [#################################################] 100% error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files) filesystem: /bin exists in filesystem filesystem: /sbin exists in filesystem filesystem: /usr/sbin exists in filesystem Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.'
Can anybody tell me what it means & how to go about fixing it (I've got Arch running on a VPS).
Many thanks,
Cheers,
Phil...
Follow these instructions https://www.archlinux.org/news/binaries-move-to-usrbin-requiring-update-inte...
Or reinstall Arch using the latest iso. It might be faster and easier.
