Networkmanager runs and connects fine, I just lack the frontend (so I'm unable to configure new networks).
does: sudo find / -xdev -name '*.pac[ns]*' ... turn anything up? ie, did you merge in all the PAM config changes recently(ish)? -- C Anthony
