In principle this is okay but the question is was this rejected before or after the support for splitted packages in pacman? At example for this a GUI would be even better: pacman -Ss kdeplasma-addons -) If there is a chance that shaman get stable enough to step to extra this would be very nice but it is not a problem if not.
