No, I guess not, /usr is for vendor-supplied stuff. /opt is for personal stuff. That is the conflict.
But then, /usr/local is for system administrator stuff, so what about?
/opt -> /usr/local/opt /usr/local -> /local
Just half kidding!
Well then /usr/lib -> /lib /usr/lib64 -> /lib64 /usr/bin ->/bin /usr/local/opt /opt That should do it ;)
