I've put PulseAudio into [testing] some time ago, but received no feedback on this.
This either means it works well, or nobody uses it.
So I'm asking for it now, especially from GNOME and KDE users running PulseAudio.
I haven't really used it since I came to Arch Linux a couple years ago. But my experience with it on Ubuntu has been all negative.
Yaro, not meaning to target you specifically (others hold this sort of attitude towards pulse as well), but have you actually used pulseaudio on Arch? Because pulseaudio on Ubuntu (and a couple of years back) isn't really relevant to the implementation Jan is asking about, on Arch.
Only back when it was still in [community] and suffered pretty much the same problems. Forgive me if I say I don't feel Pulse Audio is really [extra] material, though I suppose I should test it again.
