I read that systemd 254 will enable a soft-reboot similar to how windows
does fast-boot does it.
Slightly OT here, but Windows' fastboot is for accelerating shutdown, not reboot.
I often tell users to reboot instead of shutdown+poweron, due to this 'feature'.
