[arch-general] linux 3.5 and resolution EDID problem

Hello all, After upgrading to linux-3.5.2, my monitor lost its highest resolution of 1360x768 and went to 1024x768 instead. Downgrading to linux-3.4.9 fixed the issue for the moment. There are some problems reported with linux-3.5-rc4, such as http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/dri-devel/2012-June/024455.html. My desktop has Intel Corporation 82G33/G31 Express Integrated Graphics controller, which uses i915 module. and I am still experiencing the problem. However unlike the thread on arch forums(https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1153026), I am not experiencing any display corruption. Anything I can do to fix the problem with linux-3.5?
