This sounds like a hardware issue even though it worked on Windows. I found this forum thread which may be relevant: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2203274 So maybe try to clean and reseat the keyboard if this is possible. Sławek Kapłoński <slawek@kaplonski.pl> writes:
Hello,
I have Arch linux installed on Dell latitude e7440 laptop. Generally almost everything works fine but I have one annoying problem. When I type something on keyboard, sometimes (randomly) random key is "blocked" like it was pressed all time (for example when I wroteeeeeeeeeeee something). This stops when I press any other (or even the same) key once again. I test it on Windows 7 (not for long time but in similar time on linux this problem appear) and there was no problem on Win. I have no idea what could be a reason of that problem and how to debug or diagnose it. Maybe someone of You had same problem on will have some idea how to start searching reason of that :) I will be graceful for any help :)
