Hello, preview-latex (part of auctex, a very widespread emacs-mode for TeX-ing) does not work with ghostscript 9.00. There is a bug report on the bug-auctex mailing list about that. A very simple confirming minimal example is the following laTeX-File: \documentclass{article} \begin{document} $\mu$ \end{document} Regards Stefan
