I fail to see how yaourt is in any way a replacement for jacman. jacman is a GUI frontend for pacman. yaourt simply extends pacman to enable a bunch of aur commands. I doubt that anyone who wants something like jacman would be appeased with yaourt.
(That said, I think yaourt is great.)

Yes you are right Scott *provided one NEEDS a gui*, and then yaourt is NOT a suitable replacement. <- All of which explains why I specifically used the words "suggest" and "works nicely for what I need", and I guess I should further emphasize that I used the word "I".
