Hmm, I've never had this issue, but here are a few ideas: - try to disable ntpd and/or ntpdate (which might be run by cron?) on your guest - try to disable time sync between host and client on the VBox host: http://rickguyer.com/virtualbox-disable-time-sync-between-host-and-client/ - try to add "clock=pit" in your guest kernel boot line: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/918461/en-us/ (I think it's quite rare to have a link to microsoft.com posted here :)) Hope this helps.
