how do i remove old version and install new with pacman, have tried pacman -R but had dependency problems. you should've mentioned that this is ArchLinux Arm
and yes, they reverted those packages (at leat on armv6 for raspberrypi) I dunno why, don't even care
hi Damjan i completely misunderstood the message, i thought i had had the earlier version, i also thought when it came to the packages versions arch and archlinux arm were the same, will remember this for future reference. thanks shadrock
sorry my question should be about downgrading not removing, should i leave the version as it is or should i downgrade, nothing seems to be broken but not sure if it will cause problems in the future or with other software.
