For those that build packages from AUR/ABS, etc.. if you need to install them on multiple boxes handling both architectures, creating your own custom repository for your packages is a snap. If you haven't looked into the repo-add/repo-remove scripts, the Pacman_Tips page is worth a read. Basically, you simply use repo-add to build the repository index for all your custom packages and make it available on your lan via file://, http:// or ftp://.
