Hello, ** Mark Persky via arch-general <arch-general@lists.archlinux.org> [2021-10-19 02:34:49 +0300]:
Hi everyone,
I am unable to launch nfs server. It misses the scripts as mentioned in log: .... systemd[166856]: nfs-idmapd.service: Failed to locate executable /usr/sbin/rpc.idmapd: No such file or directory .... systemd[166857]: nfs-mountd.service: Failed to locate executable /usr/sbin/rpc.mountd: No such file or directory .... systemd[166858]: nfsdcld.service: Failed to locate executable /usr/sbin/nfsdcld: No such file or directory .... systemd[166859]: rpc-statd.service: Failed at step EXEC spawning /usr/sbin/rpc.statd: No such file or directory ....
I guess some packages are missing or not properly installed/configured.
Do you have /usr/sbin symlink? $ LANG=en_US.UTF-8 ls -lA /usr total 608 drwxr-xr-x 6 root root 143360 Oct 19 08:10 bin drwxr-xr-x 701 root root 49152 Oct 19 08:10 include drwxr-xr-x 291 root root 229376 Oct 19 08:10 lib drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 178 May 14 08:15 lib32 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 3 May 31 08:39 lib64 -> lib drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 38 Oct 14 08:44 libexec drwxr-xr-x 12 root root 125 Feb 28 2021 local lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 3 May 31 08:39 sbin -> bin drwxr-xr-x 396 root root 12288 Oct 16 20:43 share drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 46 Oct 18 08:01 src $ LANG=en_US.UTF-8 pacman -Qo /usr/sbin /usr/sbin is owned by filesystem 2021.05.31-1
Any help would be appreciated, Mark P.
