Hi!
I'm an IT student in Paris, fairly new to Archlinux, and I would like to organise a Bug Squashing Day. Problem is, I have no idea who I should contact to do things properly.
Shall I send this message to the arch-dev-public mailing-list too?
Nope. Arch-dev-public is only for official devs[1] only. Your mail will get rejected by the server. As for how to do it properly, I think all you need to do is get a bunch of people interested, pick a date, hop on IRC and squash away. That's how the Xen project seems to handle it, anyway.[2] --Sean [1] https://www.archlinux.org/people/developers/ [2] http://wiki.xenproject.org/wiki/Xen_Document_Days
