Okay, it is the best to don't do this but i have a technical question about it in this case: What would be the best?
1. ln -s libjpeg.so libjpeg.so.62
or
2. Stay with libjpeg 6b-6 and do "ln -s libjpeg.so libjpeg.so.7"
Comment: I still use my own kde3 packages and i'm not sure that i will found patches for them in the near future (or perhaps never). Get the old libjpeg package, extract it and copy the .so file to /usr/lib. Linking is a no-go.
