I was getting errors similar to those on my thinkpad t520 but after some searching on the forums I added 'blacklist mei' to my modprobe.conf and it did the trick. On Jan 30, 2012 3:17 PM, <rara8avis@aol.com> wrote:

I'm getting the watchdog errors as well, on a T520 laptop, was curious of the solution too, but haven't had time to look into it... maybe something to do with Thinkpads?
Tim Stella I'm also getting the watchdog errors, not on a laptop. But mine says NMI watchdog disabled: not supported (no LACPI?) FWIW
