Try running

$ gsettings set org.cinnamon.desktop.screensaver lock-enabled true

I did it and the output of $ gsetting get is true: $ gsettings get org.cinnamon.desktop.screensaver lock-enabled true But unfortunateley the lock-screen still doesn't work. greetings, pete
