Hi!
I have a Broadcom 4312 (rev 01). It seems to be, the best method is ndiswrapper using it. However, when I use it, wpa_supplicant can associate with the ap, but dhclient/dhcpcd can't get a dhcpoffer. Using the wl driver, there is no problem. Here is the interesting thing: using sysrescueccd (2.6.27 kernel, 1.53 ndiswrapper ebuild: http://gentoo-portage.com/AJAX/Ebuild/49806/View), I can simply get a dhcpoffer, so there is something with the ndiswrapper of Arch Linux. Any ideas?
It probably has nothing to do with Arch and everything to do with the kernel differences. Report it upstream
