glad we all agree on that :) i'm about to post packages which work for both of us. They have been stripped of dbus and happen to be the upstream default.
Oh, I misread the intent previously. I was expecting bug reports of the form "foo is broken, remove X and Y", but you're actually planning on posting new-and-improved PKGBUILDs? It might be nice to include diffs in that case, so it's easier to see what was done on a change-by-change basis.
