[arch-general] mksh-52.1-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz is corrupted (invalid or corrupted package (PGP signature)?
Attempting update today, I received: error: mksh: signature from "Thorsten Töpper <........@freethoughts.de>" is unknown trust :: File /var/cache/pacman/pkg/mksh-52.1-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz is corrupted (invalid or corrupted package (PGP signature)). Do you want to delete it? [Y/n] n error: failed to commit transaction (invalid or corrupted package) Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded. Is this a know issue? How to work around (correctly)? -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.

Similar errors have occurred when archlinux-keyring package is not up to date with other packages. $ pacman-key --refresh-keys should resolve this if it is the same issue. -- Jayesh Badwaik

Yep, I stumbled around, added mksh to 'IgnorePkg =' in pacman.conf updated (keyring updated), removed the 'IgnorePkg', then mksh installed just fine. $ pacman-key --refresh-keys (would have been a lot easier :) -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.

Or pacman -S archlinux-keyring before the full update ;). (I had the same this afternoon on a sometimes-used system). Mvg, Guus Snijders
