Hi guys: I've installed Gnome and I don't really want to run it from the GDM. So, I went into the directory /etc/skel/ and have erased the comment lines off of exect gnome-session. When I type startx, and press alt+F2 to run and type Orca, nothing seems to happen. Also, I have the VirtualBox guest utilities and have loaded all the modules. Is there an issue here with VirtualBox that I am not aware of?
