Hey hey, trying to update/install packages, I encountered this error. I definitely noticed it yesterday night, I can't say when I installed the last package successfully though. pacman -Syyu [...] multilib 149.4 KiB 1572 KiB/s 00:00 [######################] 100% error: failed retrieving file 'dvzrv.db' from pkgbuild.com : The requested URL returned error: 404 error: failed to update dvzrv (failed to retrieve some files) error: failed to synchronize all databases
I found similar issues online, but they related to bad mirrors, which pkgbuild.com should not be. Or should it? Anyway, I just updated my mirrorlist, possibly the first time since changing to the 64bit architecture and I did include two pkkgbuild.com mirrors.
Does anyone have a suggestion, please?
Best wishes,
Jeanette

Looking through the Unofficial User Repository wiki page [1], the only one listed with "dvzrv" is David Runge's realtime kernel repo [2] - is that one you have enabled? It looks like it was renamed sometime around December last year [3].

Hi,
are you using one of those listed by mirrorlist.pacnew?
$ grep pkgbuild.com /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist.pacnew #Server = https://europe.mirror.pkgbuild.com/$repo/os/$arch #Server = https://mirror.pkgbuild.com/$repo/os/$arch #Server = https://asia.mirror.pkgbuild.com/$repo/os/$arch #Server = https://america.mirror.pkgbuild.com/$repo/os/$arch
I don't experience issues, by this mirrorlist:
$ grep -v # /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist
Server = http://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/archlinux/$repo/os/$arch Server = http://ftp.uni-hannover.de/archlinux/$repo/os/$arch Server = http://ftp.tu-chemnitz.de/pub/linux/archlinux/$repo/os/$arch
Server = https://mirrors.mit.edu/archlinux/$repo/os/$arch

Thanks a lot. I didn't spot that. Yes, I have it and it's now fixed! Many thanks!
Best wishes,
Jeanette
