All, pacman -Syu this morning and groupadd failed while installing git with the following message: ( 28/115) upgrading git [###########################] 100% groupadd: Invalid configuration: SYS_GID_MIN (101), GID_MIN (100), SYS_GID_MAX (99) useradd: group 'git' does not exist error: command failed to execute correctly It appears to see a min of 100 and a max of 99. Is yours changed?
Not since May 31, 2009 :) Looking at it, there are no entries for SYS_GID_MIN or SYS_GID_MAX. This box was originally installed somewhere around April 2009 and has been updated at least weekly since then. So it looks like this file may need to be updated on Arch's end if there are needed changes that are not in this one.
