after upgrading to thunderbird 2.0.0.14 i cannot open attachments anymore or rather see them. Before opening an email the attachment symbol still appears in the list but when opened i just see the textbody and the symbol (speaking about the paper-clip) disappears. I can confirm it does not happen with the official binaries, although the icons do not show but that could be because I ran it from my home directory. I have also rebuilt via abs to get branding and that does not help. Time for a bug report.... Allan

Because that is built from source with gcc-4.3 so will have the same problem.

i tried the thunderbird 2.0.0.14 binary from mozilla.org now and it works perfect for me. everything works as expected. cheers - Michael
