You mean to have skype readily available for the 64bit version? That would be nice (one less thing to fetch from AUR :p ). I guess the staticqt version could be used in the meantime, I've been using it for a good while and it has been working fine. missing avatars are because of the way we have right now lib32-qt. it would be fixed once we roll out the new repository have have li32-qt properly built -- Ionuț

Using the staticqt version would significantly reduce the number of dependencies we need to build for multilib. But doesn't it cause other problems, like not using your local qt theme settings?

You are right, it does ignore the local theme settings. If one selects "Desktop Settings" it should work but it doesn't. I have never noticed that because I don't mind if some things look a little different. -- Mauro Santos
