Hello, after the latest system update arch changes tetex with texlive. now i have the problem to use some programs which needs tetex as dependency like muttprint or dblatex. Is there a opportunity to run this programs with texlive because tetex isnt more in the repository. thanks toni

Change deps in pkgbuild from tetex to texlive - probably it will work without any problem. texlive-core "provides" tetex, so things should continue to work as before. People have used lyx, kile, etc. with texlive for a long while without reporting any problem. Yours, F
Thanks a lot, muttprint provides a new pkgbuild (works fine) and dblatex for example runs after changing tetex wiht texlive-core and after installing texlive-extra and texlive-pictures. Sincerely, Toni 2008/9/17 Firmicus <Firmicus@gmx.net>:

For the record, It's not necessary to replace the dependency in the PKGBUILD, just run: pacman -S app-that-depended-on-tetext If you run it, it will reinstall and fix the dependency problem (if you dont reinstall, pacman keeps reporting tetex as a missing dependency). At least that worked for me with Kile. Regards, -- Leonardo Andrés Gallego alias: sud_crow Arch Linux Hispano http://www.archlinux-es.org
