cannot resolve "libxml"
Hi, isn't the issue shown below worth a comment on "Latest News" and on arch-announce? [rocketmouse@archlinux ~]$ sudo pacman -Syu [snip] resolving dependencies... warning: cannot resolve "libxml", a dependency of "yoshimi" :: The following package cannot be upgraded due to unresolvable dependencies: yoshimi :: Do you want to skip the above package for this upgrade? No, it's a simple packaging bug. It's worth a bug report.

Maybe I made a typo when searching for a bug report, before I sent my request to the mailing list. A bug report already exists, https://bugs.archlinux.org/index.php?do=details&action=details.addvote&task_id=77545 Thanks, Ralf

Hi David, + an additional typo on my side :D. The typo was already reported by the bug tracker, but when I searched for something that should read "yoshimi", I missed FS#77545 by my first search. Regards, Ralf PS: off-topic I don't need hard real-time for my Linux machine anymore. However, related to the 250 vs 1000 Hz kernel question, I still build some rt kernels with 1000 Hz and other with < 1000 Hz, but I don't use the USB audio device for critical real-time tasks, hence I still can't comment on the USB related audio device issue. I know that you are subscribed to rt-users, too. Just in case you might have missed it, Gene, not an audio rt user, but a cnc user reported a concern. gene heskett <gheskett@shentel.net> To: rt-users <linux-rt-users@vger.kernel.org> Subject: sorta related timer comment Date: 16/02/23 23:27:03
