[arch-general] Where is libdownload?
I am trying to compile archlinux from source, but I got stuck on pacman, since it depends on libdownload, and I just can't find libdownload source anywhere on the net, since the source location http://phraktured.net/libdownload/ appears to be permanently terminated. Where can I find the sources? Karolina

http://code.phraktured.net/?p=libdownload.git;a=tree;f=dist; Things have been moved. I haven't updated the PKGBUILD yet. I'll try and get to this when I can this weekend.

Thank you for the fast help. I am upgrading my old i586/C3 archlinux from one year back to the newest version and got stuck right there. Now compiling can continue. I could not figure out how to create the correct download string, but at least I could download it manually and make a temporary fix until the update PKGBUILD comes out. Karolina

Yeah, I haven't switched over to use git's tarball features just yet. This should work though: http://code.phraktured.net/?p=libdownload.git;a=blob;f=dist/libdownload-1.3....

BTW, there is http://lowarch.org/ - it's not updated for some time, but if there are still some interested people with old boxes - you could join efforts. -- Roman Kyrylych (Роман Кирилич)

Ehm... Ignore my message, I didn't read your mail in another thread where it's already mentioned. :-) -- Roman Kyrylych (Роман Кирилич)
