[arch-general] Systemd : A big big thanks to all the dev work
When # pacman -Rs consolekit a few mn ago, I was thinking of all the summer flame on this list about systemd. My Arch is since a while a 100% systemd, and honestly, as a newbye, I didn't experienced much issues, neither did I have any painful configuration to set up. I just wanted to publicly thanks all the Arch devs for this smooth transition. The average user i am is garteful and happy to belong to the Arch community.
According to Arno Gaboury: # I just wanted to publicly thanks all the Arch devs for this smooth # transition. That's a big +1 for me. I also was using systemd long before it became part of the base installation, and couldn't have been more pleased with the performance boost I got even on a very old, very slow system after deployment, and I was not at all disappointed when I got my main box back up and rolling and deployed systemd on it as well. Thanks for all the great work that went into making it as good as it is now, and I look forward to future developments as well. ~Kyle http://kyle.tk -- Linux killed Kenny, bastard! --Subject of a real e-mail to the Linux kernel mailing list 12 January, 2009
Yes, great work thank you. Two laptops, no problems, and my old slow netbook is booting like a champ. On Wed, Oct 31, 2012 at 9:18 PM, Kyle <kyle@gmx.ca> wrote:
