Re: [arch-general] arch-general Digest, Vol 164, Issue 26
After upgraded to 4.17.2, With DDE, I cannot use multi-display with 1920*1080 for all monitors. I can just use one main monitor with 1920*1080 and another one with 1024*768 or less. I tried to modify the settings in DDE, but useless. Also, there's lots of `[Firmware bug]` in `dmesg`, with `register_kretprobes failed, returned -22` . My machine is Lenovo Ideapad 320S-14IKB. Finally I rollback my apps back, here's the **upgrade log**, I just roll them back to the original version: ``` [2018-06-18 15:55] [ALPM] upgraded linux-firmware (20180518.2a9b2cf-1 -> 20180606.d114732-1) [2018-06-18 15:56] [ALPM] upgraded linux (4.16.13-2 -> 4.17.2-1) [2018-06-18 15:56] [ALPM] upgraded acpi_call (1.1.0-133 -> 1.1.0-137) [2018-06-18 15:56] [ALPM] upgraded nvidia-390xx-utils (390.59-2 -> 390.67-2) [2018-06-18 15:56] [ALPM] upgraded lib32-nvidia-390xx-utils (390.59-1 -> 390.67-1) [2018-06-18 15:56] [ALPM] upgraded lib32-opencl-nvidia-390xx (390.59-1 -> 390.67-1) [2018-06-18 15:56] [ALPM] upgraded linux-headers (4.16.13-2 -> 4.17.2-1) [2018-06-18 15:56] [ALPM] upgraded nvidia-390xx (390.59-5 -> 390.67-3) [2018-06-18 15:56] [ALPM] upgraded opencl-nvidia-390xx (390.59-2 -> 390.67-2) ``` There may be a lot of bugs, upgrade carefully.
