This is an upstream bug (reproduced building the package in a five year old suse system) related to the changes in the magic file. I've not digged in the code of the program so I don't know how/where the problem arises.

I fixed the bug patching the source file magic/Magdir/images (see attachment) and rebuilding magic.mgc.

Please, someone let me know if this is the right place for this kind of messages or if I should open a new task on Flyspray.

Upstream would be the correct place...
