Re: [arch-announce] Arch Linux mailing list changes
Mail List Admins: Following up to my prev post (arch-general) about DMARC rejections from arch-general from domain zoho.com ( I checked it too has 'p=reject') My own messages to the list are also being rejected by our border mailer with same dmarc rejection - so indeed, I suspect something is not quite right with the list configs. Can you all please check that incoming mail to lists from domains with 'p=reject' DMARC policy work ok. Seems not to be working from what I see. thanks.

Hi, I wonder if this reply from a riseup.net account does cause an issue, too. I suspect it doesn't cause the same issue as zoho.com does. Btw. I don't know how to change the email address for subscription, hence I temporarily subscribed with this email address, too, but I will unsubscribe by this email address soon and stay with the old zoho.com subscription only. Regards, Ralf

Hey Ralph - riseup has no dmarc policy so it shouldn't be an issue with mail list. contrast : % dig _dmarc.riseup.com -t TXT % dig _dmarc.zoho.com -t TXT |grep -i dmarc gene
1) Ralph - to manage your mailman3 email addresses - login to your mailman account - in top right drop down under your 'username' -> account there you'll find 'email addresses' which you can add/remove. 2) As an aside, I note that while yahoo.com has p=reject policy, gmail.com does not - gmail dmarc policy is 'p=none' (but google.com uses p=reject). So using a gmail account should also work with the lists until they get sorted out. gene

Thank you, yes, this should work, as soon as the riseup email address isn't associated with another account anymore. Regards, Ralf
I notice that the email from lists.archlinux.org is not DKIM signed by archlinux (or lists subdomain). I wonder if doing so would be a good idea?
