I don't think many active members of the Arch community know what that group is. In fact, I am personally somewhat skeptical of Telegram in the same way I am skeptical about WhatsApp. (It may not be run by an unscrupulous social media company, but it is still a closed-source server model). This is against the channel ToS, we do not allow anyone to bridge the channel to an external service. One of the most obvious reasons is that everything via the bot can't be controlled and as an irc user your data is leaked to telegram.
