[arch-general] I'm testing packages
Hi, I've enabled testing & community-testing repos in pacman. I'd like to join the package testing team. How do I? -- Regards, Nilesh Govindarajan Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/nilesh.gr Twitter: http://twitter.com/nileshgr Website: http://www.itech7.com VPS Hosting: http://www.itech7.com/a/vps

"As such, users of the [testing] repository are strongly encouraged to subscribe to the arch-dev-public mailing list, and to report all bugs to the bug tracker " or read http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Official_Repositories#.5Btesting.5D -- ===================================== This mail was sent using 100% recycled electrons =====================================

1) Report bugs about packages while they are still in [testing] or [community-testing]. We get way too few reports from users in these cases. 2) Follow the [signoff] threads on arch-dev-public and test the packages mentioned there, verify that your use cases still work as expected. Reply to those threads to the arch-general mailing list (arch-dev-public is read-only).
