AUR web site down? Can't reach aur.archlinux.org?
Devs, Don't know if there is an issue, but just tried to reach the AUR nvidia-390xx page to update status that 6.16.0 confirmed no changes required -- and I can't reach the page? I tried the main page too https://aur.archlinux.org and same result. I pinged it and got 66% packet loss. Is there a known or new issue? -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.
Hi David, I believe it's been widely confirmed across reddit, discord, etc. that the AUR has been having intermittent issues over the past few days. I'm not a dev or anything, so that's all I know. Best of luck, Ziggy On Thu, Aug 14, 2025 at 1:52 PM David C Rankin <drankinatty@gmail.com> wrote:

Arch sites are currently experiencing a DoS. Work is underway to make them available again. AUR should be mostly fine now — in particular access over IPv6 is reported to be in perfect shape. Access to other services may be spotty. Cheers

Thanks all. Sorry I don't do social media at all or reddit much. IPv4 is still having problems on AUR - it does get though at times, others not. DoS makes sense. Glad IPv6 is fine. Damn miscreants... -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.

No worries, neither do I. The above information is from Arch forum⁽¹⁾ and official IRC channels.⁽²⁾ :) Have a nice day ____ ⁽¹⁾ https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=307553 ⁽²⁾ #archlinux on Libera.chat
